Sound Healing

Sound has the power to heal, nourish, and transform.

From ancient shamanic practices to modern sound therapy techniques, the use of sound for healing has been recognized and practiced for centuries.

Sound healing is based on the principle that sound, music, and vibration can positively impact the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of an individual willing to receive it.

In 2021 I travelled to Peru, where I spent several nights in ceremony with the medicinal plants of Ayahuasca. My intention in sitting with this medicine was to release the anger I felt towards someone who had hurt me.

In one of these ceremonies I began to whistle with the shamans. I later began to feel and see myself as a flute, spontaneously singing a melody later described to me as both happy and sad. This song felt cathartic, simple, healing, peaceful; and most of all, a natural expression of myself.

It was this particular ceremony which influenced me to recommit to me practice of meditation and music.

My hope in offering this service to others provide a space for love and healing; and to help each of us to realize or our own light and talents.
