Wild & Well | Regulating your nervous system.

Ratna Ling

Your ancestors used to sit in the sun to regulate their nervous systems.

They would walk in the woods, bathe in the river, sit around a fire and share stories with one another.

They would sing under the moonlight.

They would dance with their whole body.

They would look up at the stars, lay in the grass, and feel the wind on their skin.

Before it was called nervous system regulation, your anscestors knew it as a way of life.

Maybe living isn’t about learning something new, but remembering what your body has always known.
