Transitions & Transformation:
A Yoga Retreat
September 11 - 13, 2026
Ratna Ling, Cazadero, CA
Come experience flow as both practice and transformation.
Find presence and calm not only at the destination, but in all the spaces that lead you there.
Life is a moving, dynamic process, and yoga is simply a practice for living well within it.
In this retreat, we’ll explore what it means to flow with awareness—moving between postures while listening deeply to the body and honoring the often-overlooked moments in between.
Aligned with the seasonal transition from summer into autumn, our practices will emphasize mindful transitions and refined movement. Detailed sequencing will bring clarity to how we enter, sustain, and exit postures—allowing each pose to feel complete and each transition to become part of the practice.
The weekend includes morning pranayama (breathwork) and all-levels vinyasa to awaken clarity; and evening yin yoga with sound bath to support deep release and nervous system restoration. Throughout the weekend there will be time to rest, spend time in nature, and/or enjoy a massage.
This retreat is well-suited for practitioners who want to deepen their understanding of foundations: conscious hand and foot placement, skillful transfer of weight, stability within poses, and a fuller awareness of the body as a whole. Whether you are newer to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, you’ll be supported in moving with greater intelligence, sensitivity, and confidence.
Expect to uncover your capacity to move with ease and grace—and to experience transition not just as process, but as transformation.
